Christmas Eve
Take time to settle into your rooms before joining us in the residents' lounge for a traditional afternoon tea served by the open fire.
In the evening our welcome dinner will be served in our award winning St John's Restaurant followed by coffee in the lounge. Our bar
will be open this evening for guests who wish to enjoy a relaxing drink.
Guests who wish to attend Midnight services may do so at churches
in Keswick or Grasmere and enjoy a warming glass of mulled wine on your return.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Join us for a hearty Lakeland breakfast and find out if a special visitor has been to the King's Head! Relax and enjoy the rest of your morning at leisure before joining us for our legendary Christmas Day Luncheon served in the St John's Restaurant with its sweeping views of the surrounding fells.
Make sure you leave room for coffee and mince pies to be served in the lounge before settling down to watch the Queen's speechat 3pm.
This evening our Head Chef will be serving a Cumbrian buffet featuring traditional Lakeland specialities in the St John's Restaurant, after which we hope you will join us for a relaxing evening in the bar lounge.
Boxing Day
After breakfast, take time to explore the spectacular scenery that surrounds you - perhaps take a scenic drive or a cruise on nearby Derwentwater.
Our bar restaurant will be open all day for those who just wish to relax. Return to the Hotel in time for our farewell dinner before joining us in the bar for an evening of live music.

For those of you who will be leaving us today, we will say our goodbyes after another hearty Lakeland breakfast.
