Food and Drink
At the heart of the lodge is the all day coffee shop where breakfast is served buffet style with an array of cereals, breads, croissants, muffins and pastries, dried and fresh fruits, yoghurts, porridge, cold meats and cheeses, accompanied by fresh fruit juices and freshly brewed tea and coffee.
Throughout the day Panini’s, snacks, tea, coffee and juices are available.
The lodge has a fully licenced bar which serves continental and local beers, spirits and a wide variety of wines by the glass and by the bottle.
For guests who require full meals, our Kings Head Hotel with its “St John’s” fine dining restaurant and all day bar menu, is two minutes away by car or a fifteen minute stroll through some of the most picturesque scenery in the Lake District. We have a full range of locally brewed cask conditioned ales on tap as well as an extensive wine list.
