Located on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Ambleside, this 18th century Lakeland stone cottage enjoys an idyllic setting in the heart of the National Park, at the foot of Fairfield Horseshoe with Scandale Beck flowing through the perimeter of the gardens.Scandale Bridge Cottage can accommodate 7 people, in four bedrooms consisting of two doubles, one twin and one single. All the bedrooms are comfortably furnished with views over the gardens or Scandale Beck. There is a fully fitted bathroom with shower and the larger of the double bedrooms has its own hand basin.
The beautifully furnished sitting room enjoys magnificent views over Scandale Beck and features a real coal fireplace and comfortable lounge seating for up to seven people. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped and boasts an aga stove for cooking.
The mature gardens are another feature, and have a range of furniture including loungers, patio dining table & chairs and a children's play area with tree house. Parking is available for up to three cars.
Membership of the Langdale Country Club Leisure Centre is included for the duration of your stay at Scandale Bridge Cottage.
