Weddings

Located in the heart of The Lake District, The Kings Head is surrounded by spectacular scenery and offers a wonderful setting for your special day. We are pleased to cater for a wide range of celebrations including civil wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.

We offer a full range of services for civil ceremonies, receptions and evening celebrations, tailor-made to your specific requirements. A full package is available to include a dedicated manager on the day, reception drinks, menu selection, wines, flowers, room hire, toast master and accommodation. Our team can assist with the organisation of all requirements, including local arrangements for photographers and florists.

Civil Ceremonies
With delightful fell views, our Blencathra Suite offers an ideal venue for ceremonies for up to 50 guests.

The Reception
Our award winning St. Johns Restaurant offers a wide range of English and International dishes using only the finest of local produce. Our Head Chef presents an extensive menu selection from formal Breakfasts to finger buffets. We provide a consultation service with our Weddings Coordinator and Head Chef  to design the perfect menu for you.

Evening Celebrations
Our bar lounge offers a suitable venue for a variety of entertainments from disco to live music. Our Weddings Coordinator can advise and assist you with organising your evening entertainments.

Accommodation
The Kings Head Hotel can accommodate 36 persons in 17 bedrooms, including our popular Honeymoon Suite. Additional accommodation is available at our sister hotels. We also offer special rates for your guests who would like to extend their stay.
