Our traditional bar is well stocked with real ales: Jennings Bitter, Cumberland Ale and Cockerhoop all feature along with a selection of Guest ales. We also present a fine selection of wines and malt whiskies. We are listed in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and The Good Pub Guide.
Our delightful beer garden, with spectacular views of the surrounding fells, offers an idyllic summer setting for a drink or meal. The Travellers Rest also offers a separate room popular with locals and visitors to the area, with cosy armchairs, open fire, pool table, TV and relaxed atmosphere.
